Release date Wo Long Fallen Dynasty will appear soon. Publisher Koei Tecmo has stated that when the mythical Soulslike game releases on March 3, it will be available on PC via Game Pass on the very first day. In addition, you can watch the new dynamic trailer.

The new trailer is technically an announcement that digital pre-orders have opened, but it serves as another look at Wo Long talking about the Nioh combat system that Team Ninja has been tweaking over the past few years. The demons are still at work, but this time the gang you may know from the Dynasty Warriors series has gathered for a party: the trailer gives us a glimpse of Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, and Lu Bu.

So if (like us) you secretly hoped there would ever be a Dynasty Warriors Dark Souls game, this is probably the ticket.

There are also some pretty incredible fights against giant animals - this crocodile looks like it matters, and if Sekiro has taught us anything, it's to always watch out for albino monkeys.

As we noted in our demo impressions of Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, the focus is on always looking as badass as possible in combat - whether it's impaling someone on the end of a guandao or exploding fire powder in their eyes, it looks like Wo Long provides many opportunities for this.

Of course, you can also be devoured by a voracious demonic pig - you win something, you lose something, as they say.
