This gorgeous Sims 4 winter home is the perfect inspiration for your Sim's Christmas adventures. It's that time of year, after all - the cold weather is setting in, mince pies are in the shops and Mariah Carey is awakening from her annual slumber to herald the arrival of Santa Claus. What better way to get into the cozy Christmas spirit than building your own winter home in EA Maxis' building game?
The Sims 4 Snowy Winter House is a gorgeous Sims 4 build from creator Fab Flubs, who created a gorgeous wooden house among the tall trees in a crisp white winter wonderland. It's a very picturesque scene, the kind of place you could imagine renting on a Scandinavian holiday, with plenty of space to bring the whole family and stay there.
In the open area there are several benches covered with frost, a well that is probably rarely used at this time of year, several racks for tools and stacks of logs - those in the open air are covered with fresh snow dust, and those under the balcony and stairs, more sheltered from the elements. There is also a fire pit and a snow-cleared driveway where a car used to sit.
Once inside, you'll find yourself in a surprisingly compact arrangement of seating and dining areas, with roaring fires and colorful mittens hanging from the walls. It's the kind of build that leaves me both wanting to fire up The Sims 4 and start building, and paralyzed that I'll never be able to make something so beautiful and neatly organized. Luckily for those of us who don't have much of our own craft, Flubs has made winter house which is available on The Sims.
If that's not enough, those of you who want to know a little more about what goes into creating such a home can check out Fab Flubs' time lapse of construction and decorating. At an impressive 25 minutes in fast mode, we're amazed at how long it took to complete the build. Everything else aside, it's an incredibly mesmerizing spectacle to watch a master at work and see it all come to life in the talented hands of Flubs.
Surprisingly, this build requires no Sims 4 CC or mods - everything is done in the regular game, in the world of Mount Komorebi, which was introduced in The Sims 4 Snowy Escape expansion pack. Comments on the video say that this structure is so amazing that they wish they could visit it in real life - we certainly agree!
