The release date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is getting closer, but exactly when it will take place will depend on several factors. In fact, there are several release dates for the game, and when it will be released for you will depend on what platform you plan to play the FPS game on and whether you are going to pre-order.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Early Access Starts October 20 at 10am PT / 13pm ET / 00pm BST on all platforms. Again, this phase of early access is only available to players who pre-order the game.
Activision now brought some clarity , so here's what it all looks like. On October 19 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST, players who pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be able to begin pre-loading the campaign in preparation for the Early Access period that begins the next day. This time will be the same no matter where you are - on Xbox, PlayStation, Steam or Battlenet.
Things are splitting up a bit for the full game pre-download, which starts on October 26th at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST for PC players. Console players will be able to preload the full game a week early.
