List of Marvel Snap levels for cards, it's an interesting prospect because you're limited to 12 cards per deck, despite the sheer number of cards in the game. While our list of the best Marvel Snap decks covers some of the most meta decks in the game right now, this tier list for the popular card game looks at individual cards and their power on their own, or perhaps when used in combination with one or two others.

We also have separate tier lists for all three pools in the game right now. The first pool is where you'll be if you're just starting the game and have the most cards, while pools two and three come later when you've leveled up your collection significantly. So, without further ado, here's our full list of Marvel Snap tiers for every map in the game right now.

Marvel Snap Pool 1 tier list

Pool 1 includes several core cards and comes from collection levels 1-218. Completing this set of cards may seem like a giant task right now, but once you start earning credits, it goes by quite quickly. If you prioritize the more expensive map upgrades right away, you can level up multiple collection tiers at the same time.

Some 1-cost cards are very deck dependent - for example, you can only use Iron Fist in a move deck or Angel in annihilation deck - but others, like the S-tier cards here, fit pretty much any archetype if you're looking for something that is solid.

Nightcrawler is arguably the best 1st drop in the game due to its ability to change location, while Elektra is best used when holding her for maximum value instead of sticking her on the first turn without a target. The Korg Stone helps thin out the opponent's deck, which is vital here, as in most games, there are only a couple of cards left in each deck by the end, and Ant-Man gets a serious buff if you fill the location, which is an easy prop to fill.

Further down the list are slightly weaker 1-drops that are even more deck-specific, but no matter what, you don't want to use Quicksilver or Misty Knight. Quicksilver means you are /less/ likely to draw the combo cards needed to complete the win condition, while Misty Knight has no abilities and therefore no advantage over Nightcrawler, Mantis, Rocket Raccoon, Korg, all of which have the same characteristics. and ability.

Multiple Man and Carnage are the stars of the show in movement and deck destruction respectively, both of which are two of the most well-known decks in the meta right now. As a result, they well deserve their place in the S-tier... at least until they get nerfed. Angela is good for kazoo decks, but she is not essential for winning, while Wolverine is good for destroying decks.

At the other end of the table, Domino has the same problem as Quicksilver, as she takes up valuable space for a more important card, and Shocker doesn't have any abilities. The Forge gives the next card you play +2 Strength, but when it only has 1 Strength itself and usually has a better 2-cost card to play, it goes into Tier C. The Lizard is down there because it's usually easy to counter, and Mister Sinister may offer 4 strength for 2 costs, but spread across two cards, it's underwhelming and takes up valuable space in the location.

The sooner you play Hulk Buster the better if you have a map you want to pair it with. It retains the abilities of the randomly selected card it's teaming with, frees up extra space in that spot because you only have one card instead of two, and especially in moving decks. Deathlok does the same in destruction decks as it can destroy Bucky Barnes, Wolverine, Nova, and other cards that benefit from self-destruction.

Cyclops doesn't have any abilities, which is why he's at the bottom of the list, and while playing Ironheart in an Odin deck for a few buffs is fun, the lack of power and the random nature of her choice makes her rather inconsistent. Groot is /good/, but Star-Lord has the same effect at a lower cost, making him a bit more flexible. Meanwhile, Morph also suffers from inconsistency and most likely won't benefit your deck archetype.

So far, no tier 4 card in Marvel Snap has proven itself to be an S-tier card. Ka-Zar is important to kazoo decks - after all, the archetype is named after him - but if you don't draw Ka-Zar, Blue Marvel and Captain America can do all the work, so he's not vital. The White Queen is strong at 6 but has less than impressive abilities, while the Enchantress is only useful in On Reveal decks. Miles Morales' Spider-Man is cheap if you manage to move one of your cards on the previous turn - so it pairs nicely with Nightcrawler, the best 1-drop - but often you just play it for its original cost.

Meanwhile, Moon Girl and Strong Guy are both very situational because it's hard to get rid of / all / of your cards in hand to buff Strong Guy at the same time, even when you're playing a cheap kazoo deck and when there's a seven. -limit of cards in your hand, getting mileage from Moon Girl other than the Devil Dinosaur buff is hard. Also, the Creature doesn't have any abilities, so the choice speaks for itself.

While the White Tiger's popularity decreases as you climb the ladder, playing it on your fifth turn in Odin before the game is over is a devastating blow to your opponent, especially if one location is full so you can guarantee where the tiger will go . Meanwhile, Blue Marvel has relatively low power compared to the price, but as long as you're playing a discard based deck, the buff you get for all your cards in the game is huge.

Spider-Woman and Gamora can probably be classified as S-tier because their abilities are very strong, but they are also a bit more situational and rely on your opponent to do certain things: have a lot of cards in one location for Spider-Woman or playing a card at a specific location on the turn you play Gamora. Abomination has no abilities, so becomes a bottom level by default, and Professor X is really very situational, as it's very easy to lose a turn while defending a location that you should have won anyway.

Odin and Onslaught are similar to yin and yang in that the former reactivates all On Reveal effects, while the latter doubles the strength of the current effects. Both are equally strong if you play decks with a lot of either effect. It may surprise some that Heimdall is not an S-level, but there are two main reasons for this. It can certainly win the game from a losing position for a movement deck, but it's not important to the deck either, since cards like Cloak can do the same job, albeit not as efficiently. It's also incredibly difficult to accurately calculate how much power you'll have left after playing Heimdall on a busy board, so you often just play him in a rosy fashion rather than figuring out exactly where he's best.

Apocalypse and Spectrum are extremely strong in their decks, and while America Chavez may seem like Quicksilver and Domino since you pick her /last/, she makes it so that you only have 11 cards to draw and set up combos from. A huge help if the win condition for your deck revolves around cheaper cards. The Hulk doesn't have any abilities either, but instead of being at the bottom of a barrel, his strength of 12 means he can swing one spot in your direction at the very end of the game rather than being completely useless.
