System Requirements Dead Space won't turn your gaming PC into a Necromorph, but the necessary CPU specs needed to run a horror game might annoy you. Things aren't so bad with graphics cards, but it looks like the remake could push even the most hardcore pixel lovers.
According to system requirements Dead Space в Steam, you will need one of the best gaming processors to install USG Ishimura. Motive recommends something on par with the Intel Core i5 8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, with the recommended specs much higher than the Core i5 11600K and Ryzen 5 5600X. Those last two chips are only a few years old, so getting a newer processor could help revive the corpses of the bloody sci-fi shooter.
Here are the system requirements Dead Space:
Minimum | recommended | |

GPU Requirements Dead Space not so high: Motive suggests that an aging Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 will provide enough power. However, for those looking to boost frame rates or enjoy ray tracing gaming features, the GeForce RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 6700 XT is a better choice.
It is not yet known if Nvidia DLSS or other scaling technologies such as AMD FSR and Intel XeSS will be supported. The same can be said for Nvidia PhysX, but we can only hope that we can look forward to great ragdoll effects on the day of the remake. Dead Space.
Compatible with Dead Space Steam Deck
Motive has not announced compatibility with Dead Space Steam Deck, and Valve did not mark the game as tested or playable. What we do know is that pathetic fuss will support the best PC controllers, so there should be no problem with a portable powerful gamepad, helping gamers take the reimagined horror classic on the go.
