However, he's not as shy as he first appears and, as the name suggests, he's a little mischievous toying with you before stepping out of the shadows. If you succeed in his little game of hide-and-seek by finding the rogue three times, he will come out and reward you for playing with him by giving you an enchanted tool to aid you in diamond mining.
While a new mob has just been discovered underground, if you've been repelled by the dreaded Overseer from The Wild Update, fear not. The rogue, being more cute than deadly, isn't too far down and can be found by spying on you starting at Y-Level 0 and deeper, so you don't have to go far into Deep Darkness to find him.
