News about patch 6.4 for FFXIV will arrive before the end of March, as the developers have announced the release date for the next Live Letter 76 Producer Livestream. everything coming to the critically acclaimed MMORPG in its next major update.
Live Letter 76 will focus primarily on FFXIV 6.4, the next major patch after FFXIV Endwalker, as the team builds the game ahead of their next full expansion. Typically, the team will use this first live email for a new update to give an overview of all the major features and content we can expect, while the next live email will be more in-depth with a gameplay demo.
So, we don't know everything that's coming in FFXIV patch 6.4 yet, but we do have some details. First, Yoshi-P previously said that players can expect big updates to FFXIV's Island Hideout mode in 6.4, following a small number of additions in the previous patch. This should satisfy players who have already polished all aspects of the quiet farming side of the game.
We also expect to see a lot of standard additions coming with the new FFXIV patch. This includes a continuation of the Main Scenario quest, which is moving closer to the story of FFXIV 7.0 and will likely include at least one dungeon and challenge. The Pandaemonium raid series will reach its climax with the final four battles and their associated savagery levels.
There's also a good chance we'll see another of the new Variant and Criterion dungeons, branching, repetitive FFXIV story instances, and new ways to upgrade Manderville's weapons.
