That's right, this much-discussed Nintendo Direct is now a reality, and it's happening tomorrow, September 13th.

Last week there was a lot of he said, she said, they said, reports that the supposed Direct would air this week, then it was postponed, then it wasn't postponed, and now it's finally confirmed that it will be streamed on the official Nintendo YouTube channel at 15:00 BST/ 16:00 CEST/ 10:00 EST.

Apparently, the Direct will feature "about 40 minutes of information, primarily focused on Nintendo Switch games coming out this winter." Since winter lasts from December to March, don't expect everything shown to be released until December.

It should be noted that, according to rumors, the reason for the delay is related to the recent news of the death of Queen Elizabeth. Obviously, the decision was made to continue with the presentation, but it should be noted that, as a token of respect, the Nintendo UK YouTube channel will not be live streaming the presentation, but will instead post it as a VOD on their channel, available from 16pm BST.

There doesn't seem to be anything stopping viewers in the UK from watching other streams like the US one, so it's most likely just a small gesture from Nintendo UK.

None of the announcements mentioned specific games, but part of the rumors were related to the fact that the long-awaited wind waker и Twilight Princess finally coming to Switch. Considering the rumors turned out to be true, and the fact that Zelda games, spin-offs or otherwise, have been released every year for several years, this wouldn't be a very surprising announcement.

Part of the rumor also suggested that some Metroid Prime ports will appear, rumors about which have been circulating for several years. Otherwise, the game can be anything, but fans will likely be hoping for some Breath of the Wild sequel news, and Smash fans will likely still be disappointed by the lack of any announcement.
