Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is getting an extensive new Call of Duty Paintball mod that aims to bring back the classic, much-loved run-and-gun style of CoD multiplayer, ideal for players who may have become disenchanted with Modern Warfare 2 and are looking for a game changer Warzone 2 on battle royale.

The mod, aptly named Call of Duty Paint Ops, is a complete overhaul of the Black Ops 3 multiplayer game with new maps, new weapons (naturally, in the form of paintball guns) and its own progression system. You'll need a legal copy of Black Ops 3 to play, but otherwise the mod will use the shooter's own server browser, which means that once you launch it, you'll be able to create and find custom paintball matches just like any other type of match.

There is no exact release date for Paint Ops yet, but the mod is scheduled to launch in 2023. In addition to the fact that the mod will allow you to level up to 55 and go through ten ladders of prestige, after release it is planned to add add-ons, calling cards and emblems to the game. The game will feature three maps, and the development team promises a return to "old school Call Of Duty with a run-and-gun feel."

A skill-based matchmaking system that theoretically pits you against players of comparable skill level and experience was a source of frustration in the latest Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 game. the best weapons and benefits.

In addition to its faster pace and run-and-gun style of play, Paint Ops aims to provide a classic CoD multiplayer experience by moving away from skill-based matchmaking. This might be the perfect solution if you're tired of modern Call of Duty. Call of Duty Paintball will be free at launch, with updates expected in the coming months. We'll definitely be keeping an eye on this game.
