A brand new trailer for Tekken 8 has been released today, showing the classic character Kazuya in action.

The trailer showing Kazuya battling Jin in the new city scene showcases many of his old moves, as well as a few new attacks courtesy of a bizarre new heat system. For most of the trailer, Kazuya is on the offensive, merging powerful attacks into an unrelenting wave of punches.

Let's talk about this scene too! The scene is set in a parallel New York City that looks massive, with steel barriers, cars, and a statue that we can see around the perimeter, the latter being smashed to pieces as part of Tekken 8's new dynamic stage feature.

Kazuya is a major figure in the plot of Tekken 8, and I'm not going to sugarcoat that. He'll likely be the electric wind god punching Jin and the rest of the game as the main antagonist now that his father was thrown into the volcano. The fight between Jin and Kazuya in this trailer, like the original trailer, is likely just a foretaste of things to come.

The community is not yet fully confident in Tekken 8 as they have not yet had the opportunity to experience the game in practice. However, it cannot be argued that the game looks damn good, and perhaps the ultra-aggressive focus will make more sense once the great players can get their bearings on it.

What do you think of the new Tekken 8 trailer? Do you think Kazuya looks good?
