The new iteration of the Call of Duty battle royale game is here, and while Warzone 2 has divided players with its changes to the formula many have become accustomed to, the FPS game is still riddled with bugs and glitches. Chief among these problems is the return of a glitch from the original Warzone, as the stealth bug in Warzone 2 gives some players a completely unfair and unknown advantage in multiplayer.
As revealed by XSET streamer Evan "SuperEvan" Moore, there are some pretty cut and dry shots of the glitch in action. It is currently unknown how widespread this glitch is, and while it is not a deliberate design choice like the worst Call of Duty skin, it will definitely cause problems in Warzone 2 matches if it continues to appear.
Here's how the invisibility glitch works in Warzone 2: for some unknown reason, one player can't be seen by the other despite being on another player's screen. Naturally, this gives the invisible player a completely unfair advantage, and as seen in Moore's cutscene below, the killcam clearly shows that the invisible player is in his line of sight, just invisible for some reason. Not even the best guns in Warzone 2 can save you from this.

If you need more proof, the thread under Moore's tweet has many more examples of the invisibility glitch in Warzone 2 throughout the Al Mazra map. As stated, it's not clear at this point if this is a completely random glitch or if there is a specific way to trigger it, and we don't have a way to deal with it either. So if you encounter an invisible enemy in Warzone 2 matches, then you are out of luck.
I guess if Infinity Ward doesn't already know about the invisibility glitch in Warzone 2, they will soon. However, this question is missing from the extensive Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 trello board, suggesting that Infinity Ward is not yet looking for a fix, or that the Warzone 2 invisibility glitch is on their list of changes to make.
However, the story does not begin and end there, as reviews of Warzone 2 in Steam are falling due to many technical issues in free Call of Duty game. While the frustration is justified, it's important to remember that almost all free-to-play games go through the pain of growing at launch with thousands, if not millions, of players diving into the game, so it's always best to give them time.
