Since the release of the AMD Ryzen 7000 series, the price of AM5 processors has been a point of criticism for many, especially when combined with the cost of other components required to use them, namely motherboards and RAM. Now, just under two months after the chips hit the market, the red team's latest and greatest products are already available at a deep discount.

The most powerful processor in the AMD Ryzen 7000 series, the 7950X, has received the largest price cut on Amazon. Where this top-tier chip normally costs $799, it is now available for purchase. for only $573,99, which is a savings of $222 (28%). However, this flagship processor is not the best gaming processor in the AM5 lineup for most users and we would rather go for one of the less expensive alternatives.

For example, the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X offers a much better price of $248,99, delivering the lion's share of the performance of its more powerful siblings at a much lower price.

Lowering your CPU costs also frees up more money for a better gaming motherboard, in addition to DDR5 sticks of RAM if you don't already have a few lying around.

It is not known how long these discounts will last, but it is clear that the red team is doing everything possible to solve the lack of interest in AMD Ryzen 7000 processors and make their products more competitive against 13th generation Intel Core competitors.
