Hornets Season 2 premieres just as the flowers begin to bloom and the bees begin to fly: March 24, a few days after the start of spring. Judging by the casting news we've received over the past few months, Hornets season XNUMX will provide a lot more answers in the modern timeline, especially since the casting alone reveals some of the names that made it out of the woods. Among the adult actors, Lauren Ambrose (The Help) will play the role of Wan, and Simone Kessell (Obi-Wan Kenobi) will play Lottie. In addition, Elijah Wood (No Man of God) also joined the series in a cameo role, and Nuha Jess Isman (FBI).
The teen cast will make the sinister goings-on in the woods much more intense as Liv Hewson, Courtney Eaton and Kevin Alves have been promoted to series regulars - meaning they'll be seen in most (if not all) of the season's episodes. Hewson plays Van, Eaton plays Lottie, and Alves plays Travis, whose adulthood kicks off one of season one's biggest mysteries.
Yellowjackets was created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, with Jonathan Lisko serving as showrunner. In August, shortly before filming began on season 5, the duo signed a deal with Showtime to oversee the network's new projects while keeping the Hornets in their hands. In its first season, the show averaged over XNUMX million viewers weekly across all platforms, according to Showtime, and was the second most watched show in Showtime history.
