While the film's promotional video featured ugly Art the Clown dressed as St. Nick, it has now been confirmed that actor Daniel Roebuck will play the Jolly Old Elf in the upcoming horror prequel. No stranger to scary films, Roebuck recently played the role of Grandpa Munster in Rob Zombie's The Monster Family, and his casting announcement was accompanied by the first image of his character. It also became known that work on Terrifying 3 has been completed.

Cast
There will be several returning faces in the cast of Terror 3, although Damien Leone has not yet revealed the full cast list. Details and plot
At the end of the horror film Terror 2, Art the Clown is brutally beheaded by Sienna, and his murder accomplice, known as "The Little Pale Girl" (Amelie MacLaine), takes Art's head and leaves. Later, at the end of Terrifying 2, a credits scene shows the first Terrifying's surviving victim Victoria Hayes (Samantha Scaffidi) literally giving birth to Art's head in a mental hospital. Art's living head grins at the terrified nurse. Clearly, even a decapitation isn't enough to stop Art the Clown, and the supernatural return of a new horror icon is on the way with Terrifying 3.
Other than hints at a sequel at the end of Frightening 2, very few plot details have been revealed other than that it will take place during the holidays. Leone promised that Terrifying 3 will be the scariest film yet and that the franchise will return to its roots, becoming more similar to the original short. The director explained: “One of my main goals in making Terrifying 3 was to replicate the creepiness factor that was present in the original Terrifying short. It had a really creepy atmosphere that I'm still proud of."

While the film's release is still a long way off, Damien Leone and the rest of the Terror 2023 cast released a creepy teaser trailer in November 3. The video shows a happy child walking down the stairs on Christmas Eve, hoping to see Santa Claus. But the jolly old elf turns out to be Art the Clown, and his blood-splattered face is clearly not Saint Nick. Judging by the trailer, Terrifying 3 will go to great lengths to shock, and even young children aren't safe from Art's rampage. The teaser also showcases the film's sense of humor with Santa Art snacking on milk and cookies.
