To celebrate the release of the new Fallout streaming series, Fallout 76 players can now obtain Lucy's Backpack from Vault 33 in the game. The series follows the adventures of Lucy McLane, a vault dweller who leaves the safety of Vault 33 to explore the wasteland in search of her missing father. Thanks to special crossover content, Fallout 76 players can now emulate Lucy.
There are two ways to get Lucy's backpack from Vault 33 in Fallout 76: via Xbox subscription Game Pass Ultimate и с via drop on Twitch. Backpacks in Fallout 76 aren't just a cosmetic fashion choice, allowing players to increase their carrying capacity while exploring the wasteland. Regardless of how players obtain the backpack, they will have to take additional steps to obtain it in the game.
How to unlock Lucy's backpack from Vault 33 in Fallout 76
Xbox subscribers Game Pass Ultimate can receive the backpack as part of the Vault 33 Survival Kit. This is a special perk for subscribers that can be obtained from the Perks tab in the Xbox PC app or in the app Game Pass on Xbox consoles. Xbox Subscription Game Pass generally recommended for Xbox console owners and anyone looking forward to major releases from Xbox studios.
Once players have earned the reward in the Perks tab, they will be able to use the code to receive the Vault 33 Survival Kit in Fallout 76. This special prize is only available until June 16th, so players must claim it before it disappears.
Tip: There are two versions of the survival kit available: for PC and for Xbox consoles. Make sure you select the version that is appropriate for your platform.
In addition to Lucy's backpack, there are other useful rewards in the survival kit, including:
- 3 lunchboxes
- 3 repair kits
- 3 bags with accessories
- 3 Scout Banner
- 3 boosters to carry weight
- 3 Perk Card Packs
Essentially, they give players additional in-game resources, useful temporary buffs, and new perks—everything a vault dweller needs to survive in the wasteland.
On according to Bethesda, players can also earn the backpack by watching streamers on Twitch. From now until April 23, players can follow any Twitch streamer playing Fallout 76 and receive a code. This code can be used on Bethesda.net. A Twitch subscription costs money, but overall it's cheaper than an Xbox subscription Game Pass Ultimate.
How to find Lucy's backpack from Vault 33 in Fallout 76
Once players have received their items, they should head to the nearest workbench. Vault 33 Backpack can be applied to any existing backpack as an aesthetic mod in exchange for 1 cloth and 2 plastic.
It is worth noting that backpacks are not immediately available to new players. Instead, plans for making a small backpack can be found in the Overlord's camp. Schemes for making a standard backpack can also be obtained by completing the side quest “Order of the Tadpole” in the pioneer scout camp. This quest involves helping the Pioneer Scouts through kindness, compassion, courage, and growth.
Luckily, the Vault 33 Backpack mod can be applied to both types of backpacks, making it easier for Fallout 76 players to emulate Vault 33's intrepid wasteland explorer.
