Food is an important resource in Zero Sievert. Since the game focuses on post-apocalyptic survival, food is just as important as weapons as you fight to survive every skirmish as it restores hunger, thirst, or both, which increases your carrying capacity. Some foods even reduce radiation and fatigue. Players can craft, mine, or buy food from vendors. Of the three, crafting is the most economical, as long as you regularly scavenge and/or loot. This is how you can create food in Zero Sievert.

How to craft food in Zero Sievert

Zero Sievert cook food

Crafting is only possible in your bunker, which means that you don't have the ability to create additional supplies when you are away from your base. Choose your crafts and use your resources wisely.

To create an item, interact with the workbench on the left side of the bunker. You will then need to select the category of the item you wish to create. Clicking on an item will open a list of ingredients and you can craft it if you have all the required resources. Keep in mind that some items will require you to have certain skills or modules installed in order to craft them, but don't worry, the game will notify you if you are missing any of those skills or modules when you try to craft the item in question . Some food items such as boiled meat, meatballs, and meat and bean stews will require you to have a kitchen in order to be able to cook them. Meatballs even require you to have a chef unlocked.

There are currently two highly recommended foods in Zero Sievert, depending on what you're trying to restore. To satisfy your hunger, MRE is an item you will want to craft as it gives you +40 hunger and +20 thirst. For general purpose use, milk is an item you'll want to stock up on, as it gives you +10 fatigue and -0,30 radiation in addition to +8 hunger and +18 thirst, making it perfect for when you're out of Houses. your base.
