Cheats Bannerlord is one way to help you overcome some of the obstacles that are preventing you from realizing your ultimate medieval role-playing game. Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord already out of Steam Early Access, expanding on just about every system that made the original such a unique perspective, so some of the inconvenience and graphical glitches of an RPG can be overlooked.

While you can download cheat mods to unlock some of the most essential buffs and items in the game, you can also enable cheats in the Bannerlord files. There is only one small problem: very few of them actually work. Therefore, if you are interested, we have listed how to activate Bannerlord cheats, as well as which cheat codes work.

How to activate bannerlord cheats

If you want to use a limited set of Bannerlord in-game cheats, then you need to complete the following steps before starting the campaign:

  • Go to Documents
  • Go to the Bannerlord section
  • Now configs
  • Next engine.config
  • Change cheat_mode from 0 to 1
  • Save the file

Working Bannerlord Cheats

Once you have activated the Bannerlord cheat codes, there are several codes that work:

  • Ctrl + H - heals your character
  • Ctrl+LMB - teleports you to the selected location on the map
  • Ctrl+Shift+H - treats your horse
  • Ctrl + F2 - knocks out one of your soldiers
  • Ctrl + F3 - causes damage to your character
  • Ctrl+Shift+F3 - knock out the player's horse
  • Ctrl+Alt+F4 - knock all enemies unconscious
  • Ctrl + F6 - knocks out one of your soldiers
  • Ctrl+Shift+F6 - knocks out all your troops
  • Ctrl + F4 - knock out the enemy
  • Ctrl + A - sets all your attributes to 10 (character screen only)
  • Ctrl + any number from 1 to 6 - increases a numbered attribute by one point (only on the character screen)
  • Ctrl + L - increase character level
  • Ctrl + X - gives experience to the currently selected troop type (only on the party screen)
  • Ctrl + X - adds 1,000 influence (only on the clan screen)
  • Ctrl + H - add one unit of the currently selected type (only on the party screen)
  • Ctrl+Shift+H — adds ten troops of the selected type (only on the party screen)
  • Ctrl + F5 — freezes or unfreezes all actions in the game
  • Ctrl + Alt + T - display of all units on the world map (warning: this significantly reduces the frame rate)

You can also press the Ctrl and Tilde keys (~ symbol) to open the console. If you type "help", you can call up all the console commands. Many of them are modder friendly, but if you just want to mess around with them, here are some of the best:

  • Add gold equal to # — campaign.add_gold_to_hero #
  • Level up a character once - campaign.add_skill_xp_to_hero
  • Add influence equal to # — campaign.add_influence #
  • Add renown equal to # — campaign.add_renown_to_clan #
  • Add a number of focus points equal to # - campaign.add_focus_points_to_hero #
  • List the IDs of all troops - campaign.give_troops_help
  • Add # troops to your party equal to [TROOPID] - campaign.give_troops [TROOPID] #
  • Create a list of all active quests - campaign.list_active_quests
  • Complete active quest - campaign.complete_active_quest
  • Cancel active quest - campaign.cancel_active_quest
  • Have a baby and instantly marry an NPC - campaign.conceive_child

We haven't tested all of them, but these cheats Bannerlord are identical to the cheats in Warband, so if you have a favorite, then it's worth checking it out after activating the cheats.
